About

About me…

My name is Curro de la Villa, a global creative director currently at Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo.

I've traveled the world working with amazing creatives in global agencies and local markets. Together we've given a voice to minorities in Japan, made a Game of Thrones star sing in the US, and got all football GOATS together in Russia. Most recently, we got kids dancing in classrooms to the coolest Japanese band for their mental health.

With a background in interactive art direction, I like to focus on ideas that create a sustainable future, bring change in gender & racial issues, and fight against sports abuse. In the past, I've also led Google's brand campaigns, Samsung sports initiatives, and Adidas global & local projects.

Aside from advertising, I love cinematography, photography, and every storytelling tool I can think of. I've been part of artistic projects recently acknowledged by platforms like Nowness Asia.
